Job summary

Streamline Search is seeking a Fleet Controller in Weston-super-Mare to join the busy operations team. The role covers day-to-day dispatch, breakdown support, and coordinating recovery work within a growing fleet.

Hours are 4 on / 4 off, 13:00 - 01:00, with a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience. You will work with a mixed fleet of HGVs and light vehicles, liaising with drivers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet, transport, logistics or vehicle operations.
• Ability to coordinate vehicles and drivers in a busy environment.
• Strong communication skills and practical problem solving.
• Capable of working independently and making decisions during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day dispatch of vehicles and recovery jobs.
• Monitor and manage vehicle breakdowns and recovery requirements.
• Coordinate drivers and vehicles to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
• Keep track of the fleet and respond to operational issues as they arise.
• Communicate with drivers, customers and internal teams.
• Help manage the day-to-day movement of a mixed fleet of HGVs and light vehicles.
