GXO Sainsbury's in Northampton is seeking a Fleet Controller to support the day-to-day administration of a large LGV fleet. You will work with drivers and the transport team to keep operations running smoothly and ensure records are accurate and up to date.

The role is full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday. The salary is £29,000 per annum with benefits including leave, pension and access to the Hapi platform for discounts and perks.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle fleet or transport administration.
• Knowledge of current transport regulations (drivers’ hours, vehicle maintenance).
• Strong MS Office skills; experience with Axscend Vehicle management system and Tachomaster.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the administration of a large fleet of LGV vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures.
• Input and maintain records in the Fleet Management System and other external systems.
• Keep documentation up to date and organised per current legislation and guidelines.
• Manage fleet compliance and raise defect issues.
• Promote a culture of vehicle accident reporting.

Join our team at GXO Sainsbury's as a Fleet Controller in our Northampton site.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our transport operation running smoothly and efficiently every day. Working closely with drivers and the wider transport team, you’ll help coordinate the fleet and ensure everything stays on track.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Work alongside the Compliance Manager and assist in the administration of a large fleet of LGV Vehicles
• Ensure compliance with all company standards, policies and procedures
• Input and maintain record within the Fleet Management System and other external systems
• Ensure documentation is kept up to date, accessible and in good order in line with current legislation and guidelines
• Manage fleet compliance, raise defect issues
• Help to promote a culture of vehicle accident reporting

What will you bring?

• Previous experience in vehicle fleet or transport administration
• Knowledge of current transport legistlations covering driver's hours and vehicle maintenance legistlations
• Strong MS Office skills, experience using AxscendVehicle management systemand Tachomaster
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage high volumes of data and able to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
