Job summary

Lanes Group Plc is seeking a Transport and Compliance Manager to lead the vehicle fleet maintenance and ensure compliance with UK regulations across the Transport Division. The role emphasizes safety, reporting, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners to optimise performance.

You will oversee preventive maintenance programs, drive safety initiatives, and maintain meticulous records of inspections and compliance activities, while working with vendors to deliver cost-effective

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage a transport/maintenance team.
Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of UK transport regulations and compliance standards.
Experience with maintenance software and record-keeping systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for the vehicle fleet.
Ensure regulatory compliance across transport activities and liaise with authorities.
Design and enforce safety protocols to minimise accidents and injuries.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for operational alignment.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and compliance activities.
