Lanes Group PLC is seeking a Transport and Compliance Manager to lead fleet maintenance and regulatory compliance within our Transport Division. The role focuses on delivering practical solutions for a fleet of vehicles in a fast-moving environment.

The ideal candidate will drive safety, ensure adherence to UK regulations, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain high standards of transport operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• In-depth knowledge of UK transportation regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience with maintenance software and record-keeping systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs for the fleet.
• Ensure compliance with UK transport regulations and audits.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols for transport personnel.
• Collaborate with internal teams, authorities, and partners.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance and compliance.
• Manage external vendors for vehicle maintenance and compliance services.
