Job summary

DFDS UK & Ireland seeks a Transport Compliance Coordinator to support daily fleet and driver compliance across multiple operating centres, coordinating servicing, inspections and regulatory tasks while liaising with drivers, planners, depots and partners.

You will be highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and knowledge of driver hours legislation and operator licence compliance. Training will be provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, fleet administration, or compliance.
• Excellent organisational and detail-oriented approach.
• Confident communicator able to build relationships at all levels.
• Knowledge of driver hours legislation, Operator Licence requirements, and transport regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vehicle servicing, inspections, MOTs, repairs and defect management.
• Manage relationships with workshops, maintenance providers, breakdown suppliers and external partners.
• Monitor vehicle compliance and maintenance schedules to ensure fleet availability and legal compliance.
• Support supplier performance reviews, cost control initiatives and service delivery standards.
• Liaise with drivers, planners, depots and workshop providers to minimise disruption.
• Maintain accurate fleet records, compliance documentation and maintenance histories.
• Support audits, investigations and fleet compliance activities in line with requirements.
