Job summary

Stagecoach in Kettering is seeking a hands-on Bus Fleet Cleaning Team Leader to manage the presentation team at the Kettering Depot. You'll lead daily activities, supervise interior/exterior cleaning, and ensure vehicles and depot facilities look their best.

Working with Engineering managers, you will drive safety, quality, and efficiency, maintain records, and support depot operations. The role offers training, competitive pay, and benefits including pension and travel discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, presentation, facilities, or operational environment.
• Ability to lead a team and allocate daily duties.
• Commitment to high presentation standards.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Allocate daily duties across the presentation team.
• Meet daily/weekly/annual vehicle cleaning targets.
• Lead interior, exterior, engine bay, and under-chassis cleaning.
• Ensure vehicles are fuelled and oils checked daily.
• Maintain depot offices and facilities to high standards.
• Keep accurate records: cleaning sheets, fuel logs, vehicle data.
• Inspect cleaning equipment and maintain safe working practices.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
