Job summary

Stagecoach Basingstoke is hiring a hands-on Internal Bus Depot Service Assistant Supervisor (Cleaning, Shunting & Refuelling) at Rankine Road, Basingstoke. You’ll lead a small team, refuel, clean and reposition buses to keep the fleet road-ready.

The role demands a proactive leader who can ensure safety, standards, and smooth daily operations. Salary circa £30,900 per annum for 40 hours per week with weekend rotation, plus benefits and career progression opportunities within Stagecoach’s depot

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small team of Fuellers/Shunters/Cleaners.
• Hands-on attitude to support the depot on the ground.
• Clear communication and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Fuellers/Shunters/Cleaners.
• Assist with cleaning, refuelling and repositioning vehicles as needed.
• Organise daily task allocation and complete job sheets accurately.
• Plan weekly shift cover and monitor team performance.
• Ensure health and safety standards and depot procedures.
• Coordinate with management for smooth depot operations.
