Job summary

Brink’s is seeking a Fleet Administrator to own the day-to-day processing of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) and to maintain accurate records. The role focuses on reducing costs through improved reporting and process improvements, working across operations, finance, and drivers.

You will analyze data to identify trends, investigate notices, and promote best practices while managing appeals where appropriate. The position requires excellent organisation, attention to detail, and MS Excel

Qualifications

  • Experience in fleet administration or PCN management relevant to administrative work.
  • Strong data interpretation and trend identification abilities.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming PCNs accurately and within required timescales.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across internal systems.
  • Investigate PCNs, reviewing supporting evidence and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for appeals and manage the appeals process where appropriate.
  • Ensure notices are paid within deadlines to avoid additional charges.
  • Monitor outstanding PCNs and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, recurring issues, and root causes.
  • Produce reports highlighting key findings, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives that reduce PCN volumes and associated costs.
  • Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders to improve compliance and reduce future PCNs.

About the Role

As Fleet Administrator, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day administration of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), ensuring notices are processed accurately and efficiently while helping to reduce overall costs through improved reporting, investigation, and process improvements. You will work closely with colleagues across operations, finance, and drivers to identify trends, resolve issues, and promote best practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process incoming PCNs accurately and within required timescales.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records across internal systems.
  • Investigate PCNs, reviewing supporting evidence and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for appeals and manage the appeals process where appropriate.
  • Ensure notices are paid within deadlines to avoid additional charges.
  • Monitor outstanding PCNs and ensure timely follow‑up.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, recurring issues, and root causes.

What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in fleet administration, PCN management, or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
