Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is assisting a major UK facilities management contractor to recruit an Electrical Testing Team Leader. You will lead a Electrical Testing Team and act as first point of contact for the Fixed Wire Testing Manager and team members, ensuring works are delivered in line with BS7671 Wiring Regulations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance and Installation (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a Fixed Wire Testing environment.
• Full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for client queries, providing feedback, support and escalation where appropriate.
• Ensure effective pre-job briefings, supervision arrangements, workface inspections, quality assurance and lessons learned are completed throughout team operations.
• Work closely with the Fixed Wire Testing Manager to schedule planned works, maximise resource utilisation and ensure successful delivery.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, supporting them in reaching their full potential.
• Deliver regular team briefings, promote excellent customer service and maintain strong working relationships with clients and operational teams.
