Job summary

Mitie is seeking an Electrical Testing Team Leader at Sellafield to lead a Fixed Wire Testing team and act as the first contact for the Fixed Wire Testing Manager. You will ensure works comply with BS7671 and client requirements, scheduling, supervising, and delivering safe, quality results.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ3 in Electrical Maintenance, City & Guilds 2391, at least 3 years in Fixed Wire Testing, and a clean UK licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance and Installation (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a Fixed Wire Testing environment.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Ability to organise work effectively and liaise with operational teams and the Fixed Wire Testing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for client queries, providing feedback, support and escalation where appropriate.
• Ensure effective pre-job briefings, supervision arrangements, workface inspections, quality assurance and lessons learned are completed throughout team operations.
• Work closely with the Fixed Wire Testing Manager to schedule planned works, maximise resource utilisation and ensure successful delivery.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, supporting them in reaching their full potential and achieving Sellafield nominations where applicable.
• Deliver regular team briefings, promote excellent customer service and maintain strong working relationships with clients and operational teams.
