Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust invites applications for a 1 year fixed term locum consultant post in its dynamic and innovative devices team. The post holder will provide general cardiology, device implants, clinics and MDTs and play a full part in the out-of-hours On-Call service for the department.

You would be joining a dedicated team of PCI interventionists within a hospital setting, contributing to service development and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Full registration and a licence to practise with the GMC.
• MRCP UK or equivalent.
• Higher Medical Degree (MD PhD or equivalent) desirable.
• Extensive experience in the management of Heart Failure.

Responsibilities

• Provide general cardiology, device implants, clinics and MDTs.
• Contribute to the department's on-call rota and out-of-hours cover.
• Collaborate with Consultant colleagues and senior staff; mentor junior locums if required.
