Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust invites applications for two Consultant Cardiologists in Interventional Cardiology to join our team at MMUH, with outpatient clinics at City Hospital Birmingham and Sandwell General Hospital. Applicants should be on GMC Specialist Register or within six months of CCT, and capable of managing primary PCI and independent PCI.

The post entails diagnostic angiography, coronary interventions, on-call duties (1 in 8 with cover), clinic work for Rapid Access Chest

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic angiography and coronary interventions for elective and urgent cases.
• Manage primary PCI on-call and PCI independently.
• Cover clinics, ward rounds and administration duties across sites.
• Provide flexible catheter laboratory cover and contribute to clinical pathways.
