Job summary

Allstaff Recruitment is seeking a Fitter/Service Support for a permanent role based in Castleford. You will be responsible for de-contamination of pump units, dismantling and inspection, and reporting on pump condition to ensure reliability.

The successful candidate will have mechanical engineering background, be able to read engineering drawings, and hold relevant licences (confined space, crane, forklift). A full driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Confined space training.
• Overhead crane, Lifting & slinging operator licence.
• Water Hygiene qualified.
• Full clean driving license.
• Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or similar or time served.
• Experience in Electric motor & control equipment.
• Fault finding skills.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Forklift licenses.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fitter/Service Support based in Castleford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.

Summary of the Fitter/Service Support role

Salary: £35,000
Location: Castleford
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours - Monday - Thursday 8.15am-4.30pm Friday - 8.15-1.45pm

Responsibilities of the Fitter/Service Support
