Job summary

Hiddenwell Luxury Wellness Retreat at Ardencote Manor is seeking a Fitness Instructor to energise our Leisure Team. You will lead group classes, support guests in achieving fitness goals and ensure a welcoming gym environment.

The role requires a Level 3 PT or equivalent, excellent communication and a proactive team spirit to deliver outstanding guest experiences and maintain facilities to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant fitness qualification and passion for helping guests stay active.
• Ability to lead engaging classes and tailor sessions to all fitness levels.
• Knowledge of safe exercise techniques and equipment use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group and individual fitness sessions with motivation and energy.
• Support guests to achieve personal fitness goals and track progress.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and maintain safe gym practices.
• Create adaptable programs for different abilities and maintain high cleanliness.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Fitness Instructor to join our Leisure Team

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves helping others feel their best! Whether you're delivering engaging group exercise classes, supporting guests with their fitness goals or creating a welcoming and motivating gym environment, you'll play an important role in enhancing our guests' wellbeing experience

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering engaging and motivating group exercise classes and individual fitness sessions
• Inspiring and supporting guests to achieve their personal health and fitness goals
• Demonstrating correct exercise techniques and ensuring the safe use of gym equipment
• Creating and adapting exercise programmes to suit different abilities and fitness levels
• Providing expert guidance on exercise, stretching, warm-ups and cool-downs
• Building positive relationships with guests and delivering exceptional customer service
• Ensuring our gym and fitness facilities are clean, safe, organised and welcoming
• Carrying out routine equipment checks and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
• Keeping up to date with fitness trends and bringing fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the team

What We're Looking For

• A relevant fitness qualification, ideally Level 3 Personal Trainer or equivalent
• A genuine passion for health, fitness and promoting active lifestyles
• Confidence and enthusiasm when leading group exercise classes and supporting individuals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Good knowledge of exercise techniques, gym equipment and safe working practices
• A friendly, positive and approachable personality with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
• A proactive and supportive team player who takes pride in maintaining high standards
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, where required

Previous experience delivering fitness classes or working in a gym, leisure or hospitality environment would be an advantage. However, we're equally interested in individuals who bring energy, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to help others achieve their fitness goals!

Additional Information

• Part-Time permanent positions
• Working between 3 - 5 days out of 7 per week (including weekends and bank holidays, you will need to be flexible to the business needs), working between 13.5 - 22.5 hours per week
• £13.50 per hour
• Right to work in the UK required as time of application (visa sponsorship is not available)
