Job summary

Ardencote Manor | Hiddenwell Luxury Wellness Retreat is seeking a friendly Leisure Assistant to join our Spa Leisure Team. The role involves welcoming guests, maintaining spa and pool areas, and leading activities such as archery, axe throwing and sauna rituals.

You will monitor safety, perform water testing, and support the team to ensure a relaxing and memorable spa experience for guests, including weekends and bank holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Providing a warm welcome and delivering exceptional customer service to all our guests.
• Ensuring our spa, poolside, thermal facilities, gym and changing areas are clean, safe and beautifully presented
• Leading and supporting guest activities, including archery, axe throwing and sauna rituals
• Monitoring poolside safety and ensuring guests enjoy our facilities safely
• Carrying out regular pool water testing, plant room checks and backwashing procedures
• Completing routine safety checks and maintaining accurate recordsResponding professionally to guest enquiries, feedback and concerns
• Working closely with the wider Leisure Team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our spa facilities

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating a safe, welcoming and relaxing environment?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Leisure Assistant to join our Spa Leisure Team

This is an exciting and varied role where no two days are the same! From ensuring our spa facilities are maintained to the highest standards, to leading exciting guest activities such as archery, axe throwing and sauna rituals, you'll play an important part in creating memorable experiences for our guests

What You'll Be Doing

Previous experience in a leisure, spa or hospitality environment would be an advantage, along with first aid or pool rescue qualifications. However, a positive attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn are just as important!

Additional Information

• Full-Time & Part-Time permanent positions
• Working between 2 - 5 days out of 7 per week (including weekends and bank holidays, you will need to be flexible to the business needs)
• £13.00 per hour
• Right to work in the UK required as time of application (visa sponsorship is not available)
