Wiltshire Council is hiring a Fitness Consultant to support community wellbeing. You will guide customers during inductions, tailor personalised programmes, and coach individuals toward their health goals.
This casual role has no fixed hours, operates on an as-needed basis, and offers an hourly rate with a 10% uplift for unsocial hours on qualifying shifts. The hybrid model requires on-site presence for a portion of hours.

As a Fitness Consultant, you will provide guidance to customers on the safe use of equipment during their induction and create customised programmes tailored to individual needs. Your responsibilities will also include coaching and supporting customers in reaching their desired goals.
We are looking for someone who is a qualified fitness instructor who can communicate honestly and openly with customers, who is also empathetic, and holds a broad knowledge of the fitness industry.
As a casual worker, the council will enhance your hourly rate by 12.07% to compensate you for annual leave. You will have no fixed hours and will work on an as-needed basis, depending on Wiltshire Council's requirements and your availability. You are not obligated to be available, and the council is not obliged to offer you work.
