Village Hotels in Leeds is seeking a proactive Leisure Club Manager to lead our fitness team and freelance instructors. You will drive outstanding member experiences, manage the class timetable, and ensure high standards of service across the leisure club.

You will motivate staff, implement cutting-edge training, and monitor guest feedback to continuously raise the bar on health, safety and customer satisfaction. A dynamic, people-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership of fitness teams and freelance staff.
• Strong customer-service focus with guest satisfaction in mind.
• Experience balancing budgets, costs and staff levels to meet demand.
• Ability to multitask and manage a dynamic timetable and service levels.
• Knowledge of health & safety standards within fitness facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fitness team and freelance group exercise staff to deliver high-quality classes.
• Motivate teams to deliver engaging fitness journeys, including Myzone and Mywellness platforms.
• Upskill staff through cutting-edge training programs (Les Mills, Hiit Company, Zumba, etc.).
• Manage gym-floor coaching and the group exercise timetable.
• Maintain service standards, handle complaints professionally and monitor guest feedback.
• Control costs while maintaining service quality and regulatory compliance.
