Chailey Heritage Foundation is seeking a Specialist Fitness & Activity Coordinator to plan and deliver personalised gym sessions, games and rebound therapy for individuals across education, care and adult services in North Chailey, East Sussex.
You will adapt sessions to each person's goals and abilities, work with physiotherapists, develop new ideas to encourage participation, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment while advancing our specialist fitness service.
Location: North Chailey, East Sussex (BN8 4EF)
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £25,882 per annum

We're looking for a Specialist Fitness & Activity Coordinator to join our dedicated team, delivering engaging, personalised gym sessions, games and rebound therapy alongside physiotherapists and multidisciplinary colleagues.
You’ll coordinate and deliver a varied programme of physical activity, adapting every session to the individual's goals, abilities and interests. Working across our education, care and adult services, you’ll help people build confidence, develop skills and enjoy the benefits of being active.

We're looking for someone who brings professional fitness knowledge together with warmth, creativity and a genuine passion for helping others. You’ll hold a recognised Level 3 Fitness qualification and have experience working in a fitness environment. Experience supporting people with disabilities or complex needs would be an advantage, but just as important is your ability to build relationships, adapt your approach and see the potential in every individual. Rebound therapy training will be supported if you’re the right person for this role.
