Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a First Responder for a base in Mallusk, with hours 07:30–17:30 Monday to Friday and some flexible hours on request. You will be part of a team delivering rapid, safe responses to gas-related emergencies and supporting field operations.

Ideal candidates hold a Gas Safe Registration, CCN1, CODNESP1, TPCP1, CMET1/2, COCN1, a full driving licence and Emergency First Aid at Work. The role involves 24/7 out-of-hours coverage and dynamic field duties in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe Registered.
• CCN1, CODNESP1, TPCP1, CMET1, CMET2, COCN1 qualifications.
• Full driving licence.
• Emergency First Aid at Work certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve gas escapes and fumes; support emergency response.
• Install, exchange and repair gas meters from domestic to industrial/commercial in line with regs.
• Complete domestic battery and regulator maintenance tasks.
• Carry out industrial and commercial maintenance, including function verification and DSEAR upgrades.
• Participate in 24/7 out-of-hours rota for emergency coverage.

We're looking for a First Responder to join our team based in Mallusk.

Location: Mallusk

Hours: 07:30 – 17:30 Monday-Friday - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As a First Responder, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the swift, safe and effective response to gas-related emergencies, protecting lives, property and the environment. What will you be responsible for?

As a First Responder, You'll Be Working Within The Team, Supporting Them In Delivering Emergency Response Services. Your Day To Day Will Include

• Responding to and resolving public reported gas escapes and fumes, including third party network damages
• Installing, exchanging and repairing a range of gas meters from domestic to industrial and commercial in accordance with regulations
• Completing domestic battery and regulator maintenance activities
• Carrying out industrial and commercial maintenance activities, including function verification and DSEAR upgrades
• Participating in the 24/7 out of hours rota to provide emergency first response coverage
