We're now looking Transport First Line Manager to provide first class safe, efficient and customer focused Tipping and Loading services and all collection and deliveries with DHL's customers and Networks.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Responsible for a team of 20 Colleagues including drivers, shunters and clerks.
• Safely and Effectively run the transport operation, managing rota's, driver allocation and incident management.
• Ensuring all legal requirements, company policies and procedures are adhered too in the daily execution of duties.
• Operate in line with company Health and safety policy and procedures, following approved risk assessments and ensuring live assessments of risks in the workplace.
• To participate in regular 1-2-1's with their nominated team.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous and practical experience as a Transport Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
• Compliance knowledge
