Job summary

Think Staffing, Perth-based, is seeking a 1st Line IT Support Analyst to provide on-site end-user support for hardware, software, networks, and connectivity. The role offers on-site work in Perth with two shift patterns and a structured training & long-term employment path.

Salary is £26,000–£27,000 depending on experience and probation outcomes. Candidates should have basic IT experience, strong communication, and a customer-focused mindset, with knowledge of Windows 10/Office 365, ITIL basics,

Qualifications

• We require at least some basic IT experience.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• A basic technical understanding to solve simple problems is required.
• Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting is preferred.
• Ability to work on own initiative and willingness to learn.
• Team player who contributes to discussions and seeks clarification when unsure.
• Excellent customer service and telephone manner.
• Basic knowledge of ITIL standards.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft OS and Office 365, with ability to operate with minimal guidance.
• Basic knowledge of iOS and Android mobile operating systems.
• Full UK driving licence or working toward one.

Responsibilities

• We provide first line support to end users on hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues via telephone, email, chat, self-service, and in person.
• We perform initial triage and diagnosis and resolve issues where possible within SLAs.
• We fulfill service requests, including ordering new equipment and arranging delivery or configuration before sending to the customer.
• We test updates for our ServiceNow platform.
