Job summary

QA is offering a First-Line Service Desk Apprenticeship in the UK. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, diagnosing issues and guiding users to resolution with honesty and clarity.

The role demands a genuine people person who stays calm under pressure, with strong communication and a willingness to learn. 37.5 hours weekly, funded training, modern laptop, remote setup, parking, and Perkbox access.

Qualifications

• 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
• Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject.

Responsibilities

• First capable, human response: diagnose and fix what can be fixed first time.
• Own the incident: see it through, or hand on to a specialist when needed.
• Act on monitoring/backup data to prevent issues before customers notice.
• Meet service levels; SLA is a commitment, not a target to game.
