Job summary

Pure Physio is seeking a First Contact Physiotherapist to work in GP practices in the Bury St Edmunds area. The role involves assessing MSK conditions at first contact, providing expert guidance on pain management, mobility and recovery, and coordinating appropriate investigations and referrals.

It also supports primary care networks and NHS partners across England. The post requires a physiotherapist with BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy, at least 5 years post-qualification experience, and advanced MSK

Qualifications

• Qualified physiotherapist with a BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
• Advanced MSK training or equivalent progression program

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose MSK conditions at the patient’s first contact
• Provide expert advice on pain management, mobility and recovery
• Order investigations such as X-rays or blood tests when appropriate
• Make onward referrals to specialists when needed
• Reduce GP workload by managing MSK cases directly
