Job summary

Pure Physio in Doncaster is hiring a First Contact Physiotherapist to join our MSK and wider clinical services within primary care networks across England. This permanent role offers a 40-hour week, with a salary of £42,000 to £49,000 depending on experience.

The FCP will assess, diagnose and manage MSK conditions at first contact, order investigations when appropriate and help reduce GP workload by direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Qualified physiotherapist with BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy.
• Advanced MSK training aligned with the national FCP/Advanced Practice Roadmap.
• Ability to work autonomously and make complex clinical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose MSK conditions at the patient’s first contact
• Provide expert advice on pain management, mobility and recovery
• Order investigations such as X-rays or blood tests when appropriate
• Reduce GP workload by managing MSK cases directly
