Optime Group are recruiting for a First Class Lounge Host to join a client at Paddington Station. This role offers a warm, professional environment with full training, weekly pay, and a potential temp-to-perm path.

The position involves welcoming customers, guiding travel access, and providing accurate information about services and disruptions. It requires hospitality experience and a professional, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or premium customer service.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to customers entering the First Class Lounge.
• Check customer eligibility and travel documentation where required.
• Deliver attentive, proactive customer service throughout each customer's visit.
• Provide accurate information regarding train services, departures, platforms and disruptions.
• Support customers during disruption, explaining options clearly.
• Prepare, present and replenish refreshments and lounge amenities.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation.
• Monitor the lounge environment to keep it welcoming and comfortable.
• Identify opportunities to assist customers, especially those needing extra support.
• Respond to questions and complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with station colleagues and onboard teams to ensure a joined-up journey experience.
