Job summary

Center Parcs is seeking a Part-time First Aid and Emergency Technician for Sherwood Forest. You will respond to incidents with calm, assess patients, and provide care within the First Aid Centre while coordinating with external healthcare services as required.

The role requires First Aid certification (AED), BLS training, and a driving licence. You will work a guaranteed minimum of 60 hours over 4 weeks, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• First Aid certification with AED or extensive first aid experience.
• BLS for adults/paediatrics or willingness to train.
• Oxygen administration qualification or willingness to train.
• Full UK driving licence held 6+ months.

Responsibilities

• Respond to first aid and emergency calls, assess and treat.
• Triage and treat at the First Aid Centre and refer as needed.
• Record incidents accurately, ensuring GDPR compliance.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and document follow-ups.

First Aid and Emergency Technician Sherwood Forest | Circa £27,900 per annum pro rata Provide calm care in the forest

What you'll be doing

• Respond to first aid and emergency call outs, providing assessment and treatment
• Triage and treat at the First Aid Centre, referring to healthcare service providers when needed
• Record incidents accurately, ensuring compliance with company and GDPR standards
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide welfare follow-ups, documenting onward treatment needs

Your working hours

• Part-time contract, shifts fall between 8:30am to 9:00pm
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 60 hours over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays

About you

• First Aid certification, with AED or extensive experience in providing First Aid
• BLS Adult and Paediatrics or prepared to undertake training
• Qualification in Oxygen administration or prepared to undertake training
• Full driving licence, held for a minimum of 6 months
• Able to work under pressure, prioritise and make calm decisions
• Strong communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft and other systems
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Note: You'll need to complete a DBS check before starting (we'll help with that).
