Job summary

Phlo is recruiting a Senior Growth Engineer in Glasgow to shape growth engineering practices and drive measurable impact on conversion, retention and revenue. You’ll work with engineering, marketing and commercial teams, using Claude Code and AI tooling to move fast while upholding high engineering standards.

You’ll own experimentation, tracking and integrations with tools like Braze, PostHog and Intercom, while collaborating across frontend, backend and data platforms to deliver scalable growth

Qualifications

• Experience as a growth engineer, ideally with consumer brands.
• AI-native workflow experience with agentic tools central to your build today.
• Pace with discipline, delivering small improvements quickly while maintaining quality.
• Able to talk to marketers and engineers in their own terms.
• Strong full-stack web skills with a sense for web performance and SEO.
• Rigorous with data and understanding of sample sizes and guardrail metrics.
• Commercial focus: measure impact on conversion, retention and lifetime value.
• Willing to be based in Glasgow and meet in the office regularly.

Responsibilities

• Define how growth engineering works at Phlo, including practices and tooling.
• Ship quick wins and launch new product lines across brands and partner sites.
• Improve acquisition and retention across the patient journey from first visit to reorder.
• Use AI agents to build test variants and roll changes across sites.
• Partner with CRO lead to run weekly experiments and ensure data quality.
• Build self-serve tools for marketing and commercial teams.
• Integrate with Braze, PostHog, Intercom, Kameleoon, Impact and ad platforms.
• Own tracking across the customer journey and payments reconciliation.
• Keep sites fast, especially on mobile, with real-time alerts for drops in conversion.
• Collaborate with product teams to scale proven changes.
