Job summary

Building Careers UK is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support firestopping and passive fire protection projects across the Liverpool area. You will assist the Site Manager and project teams to deliver works safely, efficiently and to the required quality.

The role requires construction-site experience, good understanding of drawings, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors and materials for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar
• Construction site experience
• Experience with firestopping or passive fire protection is advantageous
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day management of firestopping works
• Coordinate site activities to match programme
• Supervise subcontractors and site operatives
• Monitor quality of firestopping and compartmentation works
• Ensure works align with drawings and project requirements
• Support site inductions, toolbox talks and safety procedures
