Job summary

UKTC is seeking a Technical Surveyor to support fire resistance testing operations. You will witness specimen installations, verify dimensions, and compile detailed ‘as built’ CAD drawings and schedules for inclusion in test reports.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD LT and strong drawing interpretation, with experience in construction or civil engineering. On-site work with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Review client drawings and BOM prior to installation for survey readiness.
• Liaise with Technical Officers and clients to obtain information and drawings.
• Conduct accurate surveys of specimens with measurements and photos.
• Produce elevation/section drawings and component schedules.
• Create written descriptions of test specimens.
• Provide training to colleagues when required.
