Job summary

UKTC, part of the SOCOTEC UK & Ireland group, is expanding its certification team to support fire resistance testing operations. As Technical Surveyor, you will witness specimen installations, verify dimensions, materials and construction methods, and produce detailed CAD drawings and component schedules for fire test reports.

You will review drawings and BOMs, liaise with officers and clients, conduct accurate surveys with measurements and photos, and contribute to training colleagues in

Responsibilities

• Witness specimen installations to verify dimensions, materials and construction methods
• Produce CAD drawings and component schedules for fire test reports
• Review client drawings and BOMs prior to installation
• Conduct accurate surveys with measurements and photos
• Create elevation and section drawings and written descriptions
• Utilise AutoCAD LT, Microsoft Office and internal systems
• Provide training to colleagues in surveying roles when required
