Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Suppression Design Engineer to design and deliver fire suppression system solutions for diverse projects. You will work with sales teams, project managers and customers to develop detailed layouts and technical documentation using AutoCAD and BIM, ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements.

You will contribute to complex fire protection projects, drive design quality improvements, and support efficient project delivery across the lifecycle,

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in fire suppression system design or related role.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software.
• Experience developing engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design fire suppression systems using AutoCAD and BIM in line with project specs.
• Produce detailed drawings, calculations, material schedules and docs.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with sales teams for project handovers and technical clarifications.
• Engage with customers to tailor system designs and review project specs.
