Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support design and coordination of projects using AutoCAD and BIM technologies. You will develop BIM models, drawings, and documentation while ensuring quality and compliance with standards.

The role involves collaborating with sales, project stakeholders, and customers to tailor solutions and promote BIM best practices across projects. Training materials development and process improvement are also key aspects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, BIM, Digital Construction, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in system design, BIM coordination, or a related technical role.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software, and digital design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience producing and coordinating technical drawings and project documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project designs and BIM models across teams.
• Create and maintain BIM models, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support development of project-specific digital deliverables and applications.
• Collaborate with sales teams and customers to capture requirements.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet customer specs and standards.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on BIM practices.
