Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Suppression Pre-Sales Engineer to design medium to high complexity fire suppression solutions, aligning with customer requirements and project objectives. You will work with sales, project managers, and engineering to deliver technically compliant proposals.
You will use AutoCAD and BIM to develop layouts and calculations, review specifications, provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and support bid submissions.
As a Fire Suppression Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for designing medium to high complexity fire suppression system solutions that meet customer requirements and project objectives. Working closely with sales teams, customers, project managers, and engineering colleagues, you will provide technical expertise throughout the sales and proposal process. You will develop system designs using industry-standard design tools such as AutoCAD and Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, ensuring solutions are technically compliant, commercially viable, and aligned with customer specifications. In addition, you will provide technical leadership, support quality assurance activities, and mentor junior engineers to maintain high standards across the engineering team.
