Job summary

Progroup Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Fire Stopper to join a growing fire protection company working across London. You will survey, install and remediate firestopping on varied management agency, healthcare and school projects, travelling across London and the M25.

The role requires independence as well as teamwork, with ongoing training and development on offer. The company offers a competitive £40,000 - £45,000 salary plus a van and fuel card, plus opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Fire Stopper / Fire Stopping Operative.
• Good practical knowledge of passive fire protection and firestopping.
• Experience carrying out installation and remedial works.
• Good understanding of firestopping standards and compliance.
• Ability to work across different project environments.
• Full UK driving licence.

The Role

• Carrying out firestopping surveys, installations and remedial works
• Working across residential, healthcare and education projects
• Identifying and rectifying firestopping defects
• Installing firestopping systems in line with relevant standards and specifications
• Ensuring works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with IFC standards
