Job summary

Magenta Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Fire Stopping Operatives (NVQ Qualified) for commercial projects across London and Milton Keynes. You will work on passive fire protection installations and fire stopping, with a focus on quality and compliance.

We require NVQ in Fire Stopping or Passive Fire Protection, at least 2 years' experience, and familiarity with Nullifire products, One Trace or Bolster software, plus accurate installation records.

Qualifications

• NVQ in Fire Stopping or Passive Fire Protection is required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Fire Stopper.
• Experience with fire stopping systems and records.
• Experience using Nullifire products.
• One Trace or Bolster software experience preferred.
• Ability to complete installation records and compliance docs.
• Willingness to work day and night shifts; UK work rights.

Responsibilities

• Install passive fire protection and fire stopping systems.
• Seal service penetrations and gaps.
• Install batt & mastic systems, fire-rated sealants, collars, wraps and associated fire stopping products.
• Complete installation records and photographic evidence.
• Ensure all work complies with regulations and project specifications.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety on site.

Fire Stopping Operative (NVQ Qualified)

Location:

London & Milton Keynes

Rate:

£220 per day

Hours:

40 hours per week

Shifts:

• Days: 8:00am - 4:00pm
• Nights: 7:00pm - 3:00am (Overtime rate applicable)

Within 2 weeks

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Fire Stopping Operatives on a range of commercial projects across London and Milton Keynes. Successful candidates will be working on fire protection and passive fire stopping installations to the highest industry standards.

Requirements

• NVQ Qualification in Fire Stopping or Passive Fire Protection.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a qualified Fire Stopper.
• Proven experience installing a variety of fire stopping systems.
• Previous experience using Nullifire products.
• Experience using One Trace or Bolster software is preferred.
• Ability to accurately complete installation records and compliance documentation.
• Willingness to work both day and night shifts when required.
• Full UK work rights.

Duties

• Installation of passive fire protection and fire stopping systems.
