Job summary

EA-RS Group Ltd in London is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair sprinkler systems, including valve sets, flow switches and head alterations. You will join a growing team and work on PPMs, with a focus on delivering high-quality service.

Ideal candidates have proven mechanical fire systems experience, knowledge of British Standards, and a systematic approach to problem solving. A full UK driving licence is essential and an on-call rota is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within the Mechanical Fire Systems engineering industry.
• Working knowledge of fire sprinklers and the British Standards.
• Extensive experience of delivering service related activities across Fire Sprinkler disciplines.
• Systematic approach to solving complex problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, repairs and replacements of sprinkler pipe work.
• Work on valve sets including Pre–Actions and Alternate, and flow switches.
• Make alterations to suit customers of sprinkler heads and complete PPMs.
• Work as part of a team and on own initiative; participate in on‑call rota; converse with customers professionally.

About the Role

The purpose of the position of Fire Sprinkler Service Engineer is to carry service, maintenance, repairs and replacements of Sprinkler pipe work.

Valve sets including Pre – Actions and Alternate.

Flow switches.

Alterations to suite customers of sprinkler heads.

PPM’S on sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities:

To be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

To assist other members of the team when needed.

To be part of the on-call rota.

Be able to converse with customers in a professional manner.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience within the Mechanical Fire Systems engineering industry
• Working knowledge of fire sprinklers and the British Standards.
• Extensive experience of Delivering Service Related Activities (Maintenance, Call Outs & Remedial Works across Fire Sprinkler & associated disciplines.
• A systematic approach to solving complex problems.
• Highly effective verbal/written communication.
• Ability to work well on your own or as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence
