Job summary

EA-RS Group Ltd is recruiting a Fire Sprinkler Service Engineer to service, maintain, repair and replace sprinkler pipework. The role covers valve sets, flow switches, sprinkler heads, and alterations to suit customer needs.

The engineer will perform PPMs on sprinkler systems and work within a safety-focused team environment. The successful candidate will have proven experience in mechanical fire systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within the Mechanical Fire Systems engineering industry (see ad).
• Working knowledge of fire sprinklers and the British Standards.
• Extensive experience delivering service activities (maintenance, call-outs, remedial works).
• Systematic approach to solving complex problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work well on your own or as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist other team members when needed.
• Be part of the on-call rota.
• Converse with customers in a professional manner.

About the Role

The purpose of the position of Fire Sprinkler Service Engineer is to carry service, maintenance, repairs and replacements of Sprinkler pipe work.

Valve sets including Pre – Actions and Alternate.

Flow switches.

Sprinkler heads.

Alterations to suite customers of sprinkler heads.

PPM’S on sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities:

• To be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
• To assist other members of the team when needed.
• To be part of the on-call rota.
• Be able to converse with customers in a professional manner.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience within the Mechanical Fire Systems engineering industry
• Working knowledge of fire sprinklers and the British Standards.
• Extensive experience of Delivering Service Related Activities (Maintenance, Call Outs & Remedial Works across Fire Sprinkler & associated disciplines.
• A systematic approach to solving complex problems.
• Highly effective verbal/written communication.
• Ability to work well on your own or as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence
