Job summary

Skills for Security is seeking an experienced Fire & Security tutor/learner skills coach at our Dagenham Training Centre. You will share industry experience to train apprentices and commercial learners, delivering classroom, practical, and online modules.

You will enable learners to achieve regulated qualifications while adhering to funding rules and awarding body requirements, with potential travel for external training and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience in technical training or apprenticeships.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to adult learners.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain funded teaching qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training to apprentices and learners across classroom, practical, and online formats.
• Deliver regulated qualifications and technical training aligned with industry standards.
• Provide guidance and feedback to help learners achieve goals.
• Maintain learning environments compliant with funding rules and awarding bodies.
• Represent Skills for Security professionally when delivering training to external clients.
