Job summary

Urban Security Systems & Fire is recruiting an apprentice to train with experienced engineers on access control, video surveillance, intruder alarms and fire alarms. You will be paired with mentors, learning hands-on with real systems during block release training.

The training is delivered by Skills for Security, with sessions at the Dagenham centre, working towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship and building a future in the security industry.

Qualifications

• Maths and English required.
• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
• Applicants must be from the Brighton or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, servicing, commissioning and maintenance of fire and security systems.
• Work alongside engineers to install and fault-find on systems listed in the description.
