Job summary

Skills for Security is seeking an experienced Fire & Security engineer to transition into a Tutor / Learner Skills Coach at our Watford Training Centre. You will deliver high-quality training to apprentices and commercial learners, combining classroom and practical delivery, while aligning with industry standards.

You will support learners with guidance and feedback, foster an engaging learning environment, and ensure compliance with government funding rules and awarding bodies.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or supervising apprentices.
• Ability to deliver regulated qualifications and technical training.
• Willingness to complete fully-funded teaching qualifications.
• Flexibility to travel and stay overnight if required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality training to apprentices and learners.
• Deliver regulated qualifications and technical training aligned with industry standards.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and support to help learners achieve goals.
• Foster an engaging learning environment while complying with funding rules and awarding bodies.
• Represent Skills for Security professionally when delivering training to external clients.
