Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Fire & Security Installation & Commissioning Engineers to cover Stockton-on-Tees and the North East. The role involves installing, commissioning, testing and fault finding across fire detection and electronic security systems.

The engineer will work 8:00am–4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch, in a permanent full-time position with a salary up to £45,600 depending on experience. Reporting to the Fire & Security Projects team, you will handle installations, commissioning

Qualifications

• Proven experience in installation and commissioning.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to deliver to specification.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarms.
• Carry out testing and commissioning to ensure systems are operational.
• Diagnose faults and implement corrective works efficiently.
• Complete remedial works and system modifications as required.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and third parties as needed.
• Ensure works meet standards and are documented properly.
