Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer in Grantham to install and commission electronic systems. The role includes intruder detection, access control and CCTV, with responsibilities for planning, installation, takeovers and ongoing alterations.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary dependent on experience. Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in installation/servicing of electronic fire safety or security systems.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
Right to work in the UK required.

Responsibilities

Plan, install and commission fire and security systems including intruder, access control and CCTV.
Carry out new installations and alterations to existing setups.
Takeovers, handovers and documentation in line with standards.
Ensure health and safety compliance and quality of work.
Work from designs, specifications or CAD drawings.
Collaborate with customers and contractors to meet requirements.
