Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Stockton-on-Tees is seeking a Fire & Security Service & Maintenance Engineer for a full-time permanent role, covering the North East. You will service, maintain, test, fault-find and repair fire detection and electronic security systems across commercial and industrial client sites.

The role offers an 8:00–16:30 schedule, 31 days holiday including statutory holidays, and a salary up to £45,600 per annum depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control and related systems.
• Attend reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs to diagnose and resolve faults.
• Inspect, test and service systems in accordance with standards and manufacturer requirements.
• Diagnose faults using appropriate test equipment and documentation.
• Report faults, perform repairs and remedial works efficiently and safely.
• Ensure maintenance works are completed to a high standard and client requirements are met.
