Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd on behalf of a Newcastle Upon Tyne based Fire, Security and Electrical contractor is seeking a skilled Fire and Security Engineer. The role covers installation, maintenance and commissioning of fire alarms, emergency lighting, access control, door entry, intruder alarms and CCTV across commercial sites.

You will diagnose faults, carry out planned preventive maintenance and small upgrades, with a focus on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• Industry-specific accredited qualification (or working towards).
• Knowledge of BS5839-1.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on Fire, Security and Electrical systems.
• Perform reactive service calls and small installations.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
• Provide high level of customer service at all times.
