Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Fire & Security Surveyor to join the National Accounts support team. You will conduct site surveys, design tailored fire and security solutions, and prepare quotations and drawings for high-profile clients across the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge across fire and/or electronic security systems.
• Good understanding of relevant fire and security industry standards and to interpret customer requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Conducting site surveys across a portfolio of key and national account customers.
• Developing bespoke fire and security solutions based on client requirements and operational needs.
• Producing accurate quotations, technical specifications, and supporting system designs and drawings to support proposed solutions.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Managing customer expectations and ensuring service commitments are delivered professionally and on time.
• Working collaboratively with Sales, Operations, and Account Management teams to support business growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering bespoke fire and security solutions for a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients, whilst enjoying the flexibility to manage your own diary and workload.Working closely with key account teams, clients, and internal stakeholders, you'll be responsible for building strong customer relationships, understanding operational requirements, and designing tailored solutions that protect people, property, and assets.This is more than just a surveying role. You'll become a trusted technical expert, supporting customers from initial consultation through to solution design and quotation, helping to shape projects that deliver real value.What

You'll Be Doing

Essential Experience

• Strong technical knowledge across fire and/or electronic security systems.
• Good understanding of relevant fire and security industry standards and to interpret customer requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role.

Desirable Experience

• CAD experience.
• Microsoft Visio.
• CASH system knowledge.
