Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Fire & Security Surveyor to join our National Accounts support team. You will conduct site surveys across a portfolio of key and national account customers, develop bespoke fire and security solutions, and produce accurate quotations and technical specifications.

You’ll become a trusted technical expert from initial consultation through to solution design and quotation, building strong client relationships and ensuring designs comply with industry

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge across fire and/or electronic security systems.
• Good understanding of relevant fire and security industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys across a portfolio of key and national account customers.
• Develop bespoke fire and security solutions based on client requirements and operational needs.
• Produce accurate quotations, technical specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Create system designs and drawings to support proposed solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure service commitments are delivered professionally and on time.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Operations, and Account Management teams to support business growth.
• Ensure all designs and recommendations comply with relevant industry standards and legislation.
• Manage your own diary and travel schedule to effectively support customers across your designated area.
