Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Fire & Security Surveyor to join our National Accounts support team. You will conduct site surveys and design tailored fire and security solutions while managing client relationships and documenting accurate quotations and specifications.

The role emphasizes autonomy, diary control, and travel to support major national accounts across a designated area, ensuring compliance with standards and effective project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge across fire and/or electronic security systems.
• Good understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate into practical technical solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Conducting site surveys across a portfolio of key and national account customers.
• Developing bespoke fire and security solutions based on client requirements and operational needs.
• Producing accurate quotations, technical specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Creating system designs and drawings to support proposed solutions.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Managing customer expectations and ensuring service commitments are delivered professionally and on time.
• Working collaboratively with Sales, Operations, and Account Management teams to support business growth.
• Ensuring all designs and recommendations comply with relevant industry standards and legislation.
• Managing your own diary and travel schedule to effectively support customers across your designated area.
