Job summary

Hall & Kay in Manchester is seeking a skilled Multi-Disciplined Fire & Security Service Engineer to service, maintain, install and support fire alarm and integrated security systems across the North. You will perform PPMs and reactive maintenance, handle on-call duties, and provide training and detailed records.

The company offers product training, and an in-house training facility to develop your technical skills.

Qualifications

• Proven and demonstrable experience in fire alarm systems maintenance.
• Knowledge of BS5839 standards and practical application.
• Experience servicing addressable and conventional fire alarm systems.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion).

Responsibilities

• Service, PPM, and fault diagnosis on fire alarm systems.
• Install, configure, and commission integrated security systems.
• Perform routine and reactive maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Provide on-site and remote support and training as needed.
• Keep detailed records of configurations, service histories and testing.
