The role we’re hiring for is a Fire & Security Engineer to join our team based in the West Midlands. You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance on fire and security systems for our clients. This is a new opportunity to lead the service and maintenance, and we welcome interest from candidates who have a track record of operations in Fire & Security systems.

What you receive for joining us:

We’re looking to offer a salary of £30,000 - £40,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, we offer a company van, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), plus your birthday off as an additional day. If it falls on a weekend, you can take this on a Friday or Monday. We also provide paid travel, overtime rates paid up to double rates, and a quarterly bonus scheme.

Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:

• Regular routine servicing and repairs of various fire alarm systems and other associated systems.
• Reactive calls and repairs to a high standard aiming for first-time fix.
• Ensuring high-standard service inspections are performed within agreed timescales.
• Completing detailed and accurate reports using app technology and ensuring that an accurate and high standard of company documentation is maintained.

Can you show experience in some of these areas:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in fire and security systems; however, if you have less, please do still apply—we would like to speak to you regardless.
• An understanding of relevant British Standards, particularly clauses relating to servicing and maintenance.
• Notifier training is desirable, but training can be given for the right candidate.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
