Responsibilities

The Safety and Security engineering team is central to our business. Our multi-skilled engineers possess extensive knowledge across various technologies and products. Customer service and engineering excellence are our priorities. The role includes mentored training, development, and future progression opportunities.

  • Install, commission, and service a wide range of field equipment including fire and intruder alarm systems, CCTV, access control, audio-visual, public address, and voice alarm systems.
  • Perform retrofit upgrades/extensions as part of remedial works.
  • Provide high levels of customer service.
  • Interpret site plans based on survey documentation for installations.
  • Respond to reactive call-outs aiming for first-time fixes.
  • Offer technical support and solutions during reactive and planned visits.
  • Complete documentation according to company standards.
  • Adhere to strict H&S guidelines.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.
  • Advise customers on products and services to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Technical expertise in relevant areas.
  • Proficient admin skills and knowledge of internal business systems.
  • Commercial awareness, including system design and pricing.
  • Service-oriented with flexibility for installation tasks.
  • Effective verbal communication.
  • Team player and relationship builder.
  • Experience in BAFE/SSAIB/NSI accredited environments.
  • Valid CSCS/ECS card.
  • Certifications: IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness.
  • Recent electrical qualifications.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard manufacturers (e.g., Bosch, Hikvision, Gallagher).
  • Proven Gallagher access control skills are preferred.
